About WRC

About WRC of SLC

Established in 1899, the Women’s Republican Club of Salt Lake City is the oldest existing women’s Republican club in the nation.  We are dedicated to helping women become educated in the political process and in increasing the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government.

The WRC of SLC has an interesting history.  We’ve been alive & kickin’ since the get go!

About WRC Mission Statement:

Our mission is to see women from all age groups and walks of life as key players at the political table on local, state and national issues.
Our goal is to promote an informed public through political education and activity.  We aim to encourage and promote patriotism, love of country, home and family.

Who are the Women of WRC?
We are YOU!

We are a very eclectic, dynamic group of women.

We are single, married, mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers and aunts . We are students, homemakers, educators, published authors, political leaders and business owners.  Our life experiences vary greatly yet we are all united in one cause–the cause of freedom.

We know and understand that freedom is not free.  This is why we seek to educate ourselves, our neighbors, our children and the communities in which we live.

We believe making informed political choices today will keep us free to continue to make choices tomorrow.  Today we make our voices count!

We invite all who support Republican principles to join with us and make your voices heard!
